For dealers on DealerCenter

Keep DealerCenter. Change the website.

Your cars arrive from DealerCenter on their own, photos included. Every enquiry from the site lands back in DealerCenter as a lead. Nothing to re-enter, nobody to retrain.

Founding dealers: 3 months free, then $79 a month, locked. It starts on a temporary address, so your current site stays as it is until you decide to switch.

No sales call. A person e-mails you back.

Tell me who you are and I'll e-mail you back with the two things I need. No call unless you want one.

Used only to set up your site and e-mail you back. No spam, no reselling.

What a real dealership gets

42 cars on the lot. 211 pages Google can index.

Shoreline Auto Center in Virginia Beach moved its website to CarDealerTool on September 1, 2026, and kept DealerCenter. Every car has its own page, plus a page for each make, each make and model, each body style and each price bracket, and pages for the nearby cities and military bases buyers search from. Nobody writes them; they come from the inventory.

Sold

When a car sells, its page stays up and is marked Sold. The links Google already has keep working, and a shopper who lands on a sold car sees the rest of the lot instead of an error.

How it works
  1. 1

    You send two things

Your OK for DealerCenter to send us your inventory export (we give you the exact request to forward to DealerCenter support), and the e-mail address DealerCenter gives you for incoming leads.

  2. 2

We build the site on a temporary address

Your name, address, hours, phone and logo; your cars as soon as DealerCenter's export arrives. You look at it, you ask for changes, nothing is live on your domain yet.

  3. 3

    You switch when you're ready

One DNS record points your domain at the new site. The certificate is issued before the switch, so there is no downtime, and your old links redirect page by page.

What else the site does

Built from what a lot actually needs.

One-click questions on every car

A shopper taps "Still available?" and the question reaches you with the car attached.

A chat that becomes a lead

The website chat collects name and phone and lands in DealerCenter like any other enquiry.

Trade-in and We Buy Cars pages

A ballpark range online for trade-ins, and a separate lead type for people selling a car outright.

CARFAX on every car

If you have a CARFAX account, the report link sits on each car's page with your own partner code.

Pages for the places buyers search from

Nearby cities and military bases get their own pages, built from your inventory.

Search in plain English

"Red SUV under 15k" finds the cars; shoppers can save vehicles and come back.

Old links keep working

Every page that ranked on your old site redirects to its new equivalent; a wrong address lands on a branded page with search, not a blank one.

You edit the words yourself

Texts, blocks and pages are editable in the dashboard, and only what you enter is published.

Questions dealers ask
Do I lose my Google rankings?

The pages that rank on your old site redirect to their new equivalents, one by one, so Google and anyone's bookmark land somewhere real. The first dealership's search traffic held through its move.

What do I have to change in DealerCenter?

Nothing. You keep listing cars where you list them now, and you keep working leads where you work them now.

How long does it take?

The site is built on a temporary address within days. The inventory connection is set up by DealerCenter support, so its timing is theirs. Your current site stays live until everything is ready.

What happens to my current website?

Nothing until you switch. You decide when, and you can keep both for as long as you like.

What does it cost?

3 months free, then $79 a month, locked at that rate for as long as you stay. No contract. If you stop, your domain is yours and your old site is wherever you left it.

Who builds it?

Alex Gurghis, one person, with written rules and a public build log. Every change is checked on a live dealership before it is listed there.

Every change is listed, with how it was checked, in the build log.
